HE cold wind may blow but the members of the Women's Athletic Association are not frightened by cold weather. The hockey season was just ended when soccer practices started. This sport is more suited to cold weather, thus it was placed after the hockey season instead of before as was the previous custom. Miss Wagner coached this sport, and Dorothy Peterson was the manager. The practice season continued after the holidays. Women were seen dressed in Warm wraps, kicking the ball about in the snow. There were forty-one women who completed practices in soccer, and were eligible for the tournament. There were three games played in the tournament. The freshmen lost both games, the sophomores won and lost a game, and the junior-senior team was the winner of the tournament by winning both games played. Them embers of the junior-senior team were Lenora Chapman, Mildred Wohlford, Grace Schrader, Madge Zorbaugh, Elsie Gramlich, joy Shaefer, Mary Morris, Kathro Kidwell, Jeanette Follmer, Alice Pfeiffer and Katharine McDonald.
