THE PAN-HEL
TRIANGLE
Or
THE PARTY WAS A BIG
SUCCESS
Meet Mr. Marion
Woodard, Mr. Clayton Goar, and Mr. Ralph Ireland.
These youngsters who so cleverly appointed the
Pan-Hellenic Ball Committee, with the assurance that
those who did the excellent work of decorating, ticket
selling and everything but handle the finance, would
be rewarded by membership to the long deceased, newly
organized Kosmet Klub. They deserve honorable mention
in the gifta-gab society. This trio of chairmen are
slickers in every sense of the "woid." What became of
the receipts of the Pan-Hel Ball? 'Why weren't the
tickets Validated?
Do we have to answer
that question for you? Goar, come out from behind that
mask. We see you, though your head is down in the
sand. Irish and Woody carried the burden of making
announcements and assuring reward to those who slaved
for the "million and one" Ball committee. Goar talked
to the Radio Announcer, Bob Craig, and managed the
incoming greenbacks. Just how many were foxed by
buying tickets no one but these three shall ever know.
Yet, maybe the Shenandoah Bank could tell us?
Anyway, the party was
a grand success, especially to you who handled it so
well. 'Tis a good thing you moneyed men dodged the
name of Kosmet and worked under the name of Pan-Hel
Ball Committee or Kosmet never would me reinstated.
Oh, well, we are glad to know that you donated heavily
to the Student Relief Fund. Congratulations for
getting away with it. How did you ever make the
grade?
