GISH AND CAMERON RUN CAGE TOURNEY
Or
A LITTLE CHILD SHALL LEAD THEM

Two youngsters cleverly piloted the Nebraska high school basketball players through the annual cage tourney held under the auspices of the Husker Athletic managers in the new First Trust Building, known as the Field House. It was none other than our own thrift artist, Bizzie Bee Wendell Cameron who parked his hat and coat in the Athletic Offices to assist and oversee the hoop classic.

The duties of four men did this, one and only, Windy fill, that is, in his own estimation. And right here might we explain the Windy signification. Windy came into prominence shortly after he got his gale under control during the past football season when he carried bats and balls from bench to bench for the coaching staff, held water pails on into the night and breezed about the gridded turf as though none other than the winds could blow as he. And quite so, blow bugle, blow, keep the wild echoes flying. Windy you've tooted your horn until its sweet melodies have completely faded.

The tournament was without its thrills save the day that Cameron took the reins from Athletic Director Gish. Can you take a peep into the future, see Windy placing Raish, McIntyre and Olerich as coaches of Nebraska's teams. Will Wendell carry on the policy of Bob Russell and make Sig Eps coaches, as is now the practice of the Sig Alph chapter, like Russell made the Sig Eps referees in former state high tournaments? That is the question. The requirements for coaches now-a-days is that he is a fraternity man with a diamond shaped pin--"or have a heart for a change," says Windy.
