This home of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Kula (SE1/4 Blk 34) is the best preserved Victorian-style home in Bellwood. This ornamental wrought-iron fence around Bob Adamy's yard (SW corner Block 12) is in excellent condition and is a reminder of a bygone era. This neat and attractive home of James Bartes was remodeled from an old house (NW corner Block 26). |
Except for the glass-enclosed porch added on the front later, this home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Adams (SW1/4 Blk 4) has retained it [sic] Victorian character. Bellwood still has a few blocks of brick sidewalk remaining that lend a touch of quaintness to a small town. These brick sidewalks were laid before the turn of the century. This attractive home on the SE corner of Block 24 was remodeled from the old Methodist parsonage by Robert R. Bell. His parents are presently living in it. |

The Jack Selzer home on the east side of the Main Street (NW corner Blk 17). The Cyril Birkel home on the west side of the Main Street across from St. Peter's Church. Ray Hough's recently completed home on Lot 5 in the Hoshor Addition. |
The Stan Podraza home (Lot 4, Hoshor Addition). The home of Glen and Dorothy Forre (SW1/4, Blk 37) is a most attractive home with good plants around it. The Don Kyander home (NE1/4 Blk 39) has a good balance between wood and stone giving it a solid but fresh appearance. Edna Hiller's home on the NEI/4 of Block 34 is nicely landscaped and well kept. Her autumn flower garden is an annual attraction. |
