state directories to all national officers, national chairmen of committees, state chairmen of national committees and state regents, furnishing extra copies whenever requested; in addition, state chairmen of national committees have been kept supplied with stationery necessary in their work. I have endeavored to answer all letters reaching me, and when I left home for the conference, my desk was cleared.
Conclusion Looking back over the year, I can recall no instance when my work has not been enjoyable, or when any official duty was found unpleasant to perform. If any regrets are possible, they are the regrets of things I personally had hoped to do, and have left undone. To our national and state officers, our chairmen of committees, our chapter regents and officers and members, I am deeply grateful for courteous co-operation and unfailing devotion to the aims we hold in common. For progress made during the year, for any improvement effected, credit should go to all.
(Signed) MRS. ADAM McMULLEN,
State Regent.

REPORT OF STATE TREASURER, D. A. R.
March 5, 1929 to March 4, 1930.To the 28th Annual State Conference, Greetings: In making this last annual report for my term of office, I wish to add my sincere

appreciation of the opportunity that has been accorded me to render this service to the Nebraska Conference.
This has been an interesting period, with some achievements, and some pit-falls.
I am happy to report that the figures this year show a gain over any other year. And with the handicap of lost funds, by the practice of economy, and curtailing somewhat the usual benefactions, the funds can be restored to a near normal condition.
With this increase of funds came also an increase of work, but with the co-operation from Chapter Treasurers and all others concerned, collections have been forthcoming, and we have nearly every chapter 100% in paid dues.
In order to secure a better and more satisfactory supervision of membership, I would like to recommend, that, in addition to the books already in use in the Treasurer's office, a complete roster, or file, be established and maintained of the membership in the state.
To all who have served and assisted in an official capacity; for the kind considerations and expressions of good-will, for your year books and social invitations, your State Treasurer extends deepest gratitude and thankfulness.
