I'm not sure the last two groupings are part of clansmen. I've been trying hard to confirm my lineage, but I never seem to get the same information twice...and so far it has been most difficult to lock it in.
I have heard that my YOUNGS were part Cherokee Indian.
I have reason to believe they originated in VA. > TN > KY > IL >> IA > NE > KS > OK >AR > MO (Not always in that order).
They seemed to roam, but some always seemed to stay put....just not mine.
Cora May YOUNG was my grandmother who married a James Elmon Amos KIRK in Columbus, KS in 1902.
I have collected quite a quantity of information, but I cannot piece it together. I'm hoping someone can help me.
In return, I will very willingly share what information I can with another.
Thanks,
