C, 3rd NHV, age 22; resided Manchester; discharged July 31 1862; promoted to Colonel Aug 6 1862, enlisted 10th NHV Sept 5 1862; wounded Sept 29 1864; promoted Brevet Brig-Gen Mar 1865; mustered out June 21 1865 Richmond, VA.
