Francis "Frank" Ensley DAUGHERTY

Francis Ensley Daugherty, born in Jefferson Township 14 July, 1878, died in Cambridge 9 July, 1965. Frank was the oldest of ten children of John Morton Daugherty II and Eleanor (Ella) Warne Daugherty. He married Mary Pearl Berstler 6 January, 1909. Following a brief period of employment at the tin mill in Cambridge he purchased a farm just outside Winterset and engaged in farming for over 40 years. Frank and Pearl were the parents of eight children: Paul, Mary (Severns), Helen (Crossen), Frances, Robert, John IV, Ruth (Stewart) and Galena (Mehollin). This photograph appears to have been taken around 1900.
