Allen C. Aplin
Byesville-Allen C. Aplin, 79, formerly of 221 Spruce St., Byesville, died Monday (May 28, 1979) at Briar Hill Nursing Home, Middlefield.
He was born June 30, 1899, in Senecaville, the son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Major Aplin. He was a retired employee of the state of Ohio and was a member of Byesville Masonic Lodge 654.
His wife, Elizabeth Short Aplin, died Jan. 10, 1978.
He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Donna) Drotar of Middlefield and Mrs. Roy (Beverly) Weese of St. Petersburg, Fla., seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at McGaughy-Black Funeral Home, Byesville, where services will be at 1 pm Thursday with the Rev. Eldon Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
