Vernon (Duffy) Aplin

Senecaville-Vernon (Duffy) Aplin, 76, of 120 McDowell Street, Columbus, died at his home today following a long illness.

He was born May 10, 1911, in Senecaville, son of the late Wade and Bernice Moorehead Aplin.

A brother and sister preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Loudella Bobo Aplin; one step-son, Clyde Childers of Jackson; one sister, Marjorie Secrest of Senecaville and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 7-9 pm Tuesday at Meek Funeral Home in Senecaville, where services will be 11 am Wednesday with Rev. William High officiating. Burial will be in Senecaville Cemetery.
