Wade W. Aplin Senecaville-Wade W. Aplin, 73 retired miner of Senecaville, died in his home Tuesday [April 19, 1955] at 8 am following a long illness. He was born in Senecaville, Aug. 2, 1881, a son of Uriah and Mary Shear Aplin. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, Bernice; two sons, Vernon, of Columbus, and Jack of San Angelo, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Secrest of Senecaville; one adopted daughter, Mrs. Wilma Whitmer of Columbus; a brother, George, in Arizona; and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Purdum of Youngstown. One child died in infancy. Eight brothers and sisters are also deceased. The body is at Meek Funeral Home. Submitter's Note: Wife Bernice's maiden name is MOOREHEAD.
