Margery Lorene ATHERTON

OBITUARY

Margery Lorene, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Atherton, was born January 18, 1917; departed this life October 7, 1918, aged 1 year and 9 months.

Little Margery was a loving child, always patient and especially during her last illness.

This little bud had been sent to bless and cheer our home for a few short months, but the great reaper has plucked from our midst the choicest blossom to bloom in that great beyond where angels have a watchful care over there dear little ones.

Yes, Margery has left us, but her little life is a lesson to us all. A lamp to guide our wandering feet. Her beautiful life is beckoning us to a better and brighter home in a world where sin and sorrow come not; and where the shepherd keeps watch who said, "Let the little ones come unto me and forbid them not for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven."

We wish to thank our friends and neighbors for their kindness and sympathy during our recent sorrow and bereavement.
