JAMES LEONARD CURTISSENECAVILLE -- James L. Curtis, 63, Senecaville, an employe of the Cambridge Exxon Service Station, died Tuesday evening [June 17, 1975] at Guernsey Memorial Hospital. Death followed an apparent heart attack suffered earlier in the week. Born in Marietta, Sept. 28, 1911. He was the son of the late Amos and Marie Henderson Curtis and was a member of Cambridge Masonic Lodge 66 F & AM and a 32nd Degree member of the Scottish Rite Masons, Valley of Cambridge. Mr. Curtis leaves his wife, Marie Crow Medley Curtis; Two sons, Robert Curtis, Texas and James Curtis, Cambridge; two step-sons, Albert J. Medley, Reidsville, N.C. and John R. Medley, Columbus; nine grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; his step-mother, Mrs. Mildred Curtis, Cambridge; one sister, Mrs. Beulah Lighty, Cambridge and two nieces. Friends may call at Meek Funeral Home (Senecaville) from 7 until 9 p.m. today and 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. Thursday where Masonic services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday by Cambridge Masonic Lodge 66 F & A. M. Services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Marshall Harper officiating. Burial will be in Senecaville Cemetery. History: 2001 November 27: Moved to own file. |
