Kennedy Services Services have been scheduled for George R. Kennedy, 79 of 111 Rustic Acres, who died Tuesday [March 21, 1989] at the VA Medical Center, Chillicothe. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Bundy-Law Funeral Home, where services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday with Dr. Terry Litton and the Rev. Arthur Kirk officiating. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council in Guernsey Memory Gardens. Mr. Kennedy was born Feb. 16, 1910, in Guernsey County, son of the late Charles R. and Olive Nelson Kennedy. He was a retired employee of the State Highway Department. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Men's Fellowship Sunday School Class and an associate member of Gulfview United Methodist Church, Port Richey, Fla. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion, Liberty Grange, and the Public Employees Retirement Association. He was preceded in death by two sisters. Mr. Kennedy leaves his wife, F. Doris Hatcher Kennedy; two daughters, Karen L. Ridgley of Xenia and Mrs. Tim (Georganna O.) Parker of Haines City, Fla.; two sisters, Mae Morris of Kimbolton and Jane Wearsch of Guernsey; and several nieces and nephews.
