Mrs. Wade Aplin

Senecaville-Mrs. Bernice Aplin, Senecaville RD1, died today at 4:30 a m at Guernsey Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness.

She was born April 11, 1893, the daughter of John B. and Mary Melissa Wilson Moorehead. She married Wade W. Aplin on July 28, 1910, and he died in 1964. She was a member of Senecaville United Methodist Church and Seneca Rebekah Lodge 867.
Mrs. Aplin leaves a daughter, Mrs. Bill (Marjorie L.) Secrest of Senecaville R. D. 1; a son, Vernon W. Aplin of Columbus; a foster daughter, Mrs. Wilma Whitmer of Canal Winchester; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Amy Christian of Columbus. A son, a daughter, a great-granddaughter and several sisters and brothers are deceased.

Services will be help at 1 pm on Thursday at Meek Funeral Home, Senecaville, with the Rev. William B. Thomas and Evangelist Abe Miller officiating. Burial will be in Senecaville Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home from 7-9 pm Tuesday and from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Wednesday. Seneca Rebekah Lodge will hold services there at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
