Alice M. WALCOTT

Alice M. Walcott, 85, of Cambridge, died Friday [Sept. 5, 1997] at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center.

She was born March 16, 1912, in Hopewell, daughter of the late Thomas F. and Olive Duff Wynn.

Mrs. Walcott was a member of Grace Baptist Church and worked for 27 years at the Cambridge State Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry E. Lighty; her second husband, Everett L Walcott; an infant son and two daughters; a daughter, Mrs. Doug (Martha Bell) Milner; a brother, James Wynn. She leaves a son, Thomas E. Lighty of Cambridge; a daughter and son-in-law, Jim and Mary J. McElroy of Byesville; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and a great-great-step-grandchild; a sister-in-law, Thelma Wynn; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Scott Funeral Home, where services will be 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor Fred Barrett officiating.

Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
