Deed Wesley JARNIGAN [JARNAGIN] to William BALLARD

This Indenture made this tenth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand, eight hundred and thirty two between Wesly Jarnigan a legal heir and Representative of Drury Jarnigan decd of the County of Highland and State of Ohio of the one part and William Ballard of the County and State aforesaid of the other part - Witnesseth that the said Wesly Jarnigan lawfull heir and Representative of Drury Jarnigan decd for and in the Consideration of the sum of fifty dollars to him in hand paid the receipt Whereof is hereby acknowledged and forever ____ and discharge the sd William Ballard his heirs Executors or administrators have granted bargained and aliened and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien and confirm unto the sd William Ballard his heirs and assigns forever all his ____ and undivided interest in and claim to a Certain tract or parcel of land as the real estate of sd Drury Jarnigan decd, aforesaid subget however to the widows right of dower situated lying and being in the county of Highland on the waters of the Rocky fork of present bounded and ______ as follows viz: Beginning at two ____ in Moses Tomlinsons line and N.E. Corner to Wm. Lucas and running S. 62 1/2 W 132 poles to a gum & dogwood N.W. Corner to sd Lucas ____ N 25 1/2 W 143 7/10 poles to a White oak Blackoak and dogwood thence N 62 1/2 E 132 poles to three dogwoods thence S 25 1/2 E 143 7/10 poles to the Beginning containing one hundred and ten acres of land be it the same more or less It being part of a survey of 1767 acres No. 2520 entered Surveyed and pattented to George _____ and Conveyed to Frederick ____ by Nathaniel Pope agent for ______ every by General Warranty deed bearing date 13th Sept 1811 and by sd ____ by way of genl warranty deed dated 5th Sept 1814. To have and to hold the aforesaid granted lands and premises to him the said William Ballard his heirs and assigns forever and the sd Wesly Jarnigan the aforesaid legal heir and representative of sd Drury Jarnigan decd doth present his interest right title and claim to the above described land and premises hereby bargained and sold with all their appurtenances unto the said William Ballard his heirs and assigns against the above sd heir and legal representative of the sd Jarnigan decd his heirs and assigns and all and every other person or persons do and will warrant and forever defend by these presents Attest

Before me Phillip W. Sparger A Justice of the peace for the County aforesaid personally came Wesly Jarnigan the grantor whose name ____ to the within deed and acknowledged the _____ & sealing of said deed to be his act and deed for the purpose therein expressed. I also Certify that I am satisfied from personal knowledge that the person making said acknowledgement is the person whom he represents himself to be.
