In the name of God Amen, I Charles Walker of the State of Ohio and County of
Highland Being Sick in Body but perfectly in mind and understanding, Thanks be
to Almighty God.
In the first place I Recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God, who
gave it and My earnest pray to the Supreme being to pardon all my former Sins
and Knowing it is appointed once for man to die what good and Chattel it has
pleased god to Bless me in this world I wish to dispose of in the following
manner to wit also my lands and tenements.
Item I give and bequeath to my beloved sons John Walker, Alexander Walker,
Sampson Walker, Daniel Walker, Charles Walker and Elijah Walker, all that part
of land that I now possess. After the division is made agreeably to my sons
between my brother Elijah Heirs and mine. I wish my part to be equally
divided amongst my sons above mentioned to be divided quantity agreeably to
quality as it may be valued by good men appointed for that purpose. Except
the part where my Improvement is made--I wish my beloved wife Katharine Walker
to Keep and Enjoy a Sufficient quantity for all necessary timbers or further
improvements to make her comfortable during her Single life and after her
death or marrying again. That part of it to fall to my youngest Son Elijah
Walker as much as may be judged In the division for his share.
Item I also give and bequeath to my beloved wife Katarine Walker my two work
creatures and all my farming utensils two cows that she may make choice of out
of the flock Herself, The whole of the sheep Twelve Head of Hogs her own
choice out of my stock and all the Household furniture during her single life.
Item I give and bequeath to my beloved daughters Mary Walker, Katharine
Walker, Margarett Walker, Elizabeth Walker, Martha Walker all the Balance of
my property that is not here particularly mentioned to be Sold and the money
equally divided amongest them after every just debts are paid and all the
money owing to me to be also divided.
This I do ordain to be my last will and Testament given under my hand and seal
this Seventh day of February Ani Domini 1820.

N.B. I appoint and request my Trusty friends Samuel Lyle and William Lyle to
be my whole Sole Executors to Settle all my former dealings in lands or any
