LAST WILL & TESTAMENT OF JOHN JARNAGIN
In the name of God Amen I John Jarnigin of Highland County and
State of Ohio, being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and
memory considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, and being of
sound mind, blessed be Almighty God for the same, do make and publish
this my last will and testament, in manner and form following (that is
to say) First I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Mary Jarnigin
Eighty Five Acres of Land the tract I now live on, during Her natural
life and at her decece to My Youngest Son Ely Jarnigin, and also to the
said Ely Jarnigin one Bed and bow, to be worth Thirty Five Dollars when
the said Ely Jarnigin gets married, or at Mary Jarnigins Death, I do also
will and beaqueath unto my Fore Dauters Nancy Cooper, Polly Weyer, Holly
Groves, and Milly Horton the sum of one Dollar Each and no more of my
personal or Real Estate - and at my wifes deacece I will and bequeath
unto my son John Jarnigin one Half of all My Chatle property that is not
otherwise disposed of and the other half unto my son Drury Jarnigins
lagitimate Heirs to be equally divided amongst them, I make my said
beloved wife Mary Jarnigin my Sole Executrix of this my last will and
testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this
Eighth day of March one thousand Eight Hundred and Sixteen.

to be his last will and testament in the presents of us who have hearunto
set our names as witnesses in the presents of the Testator.
