Redmond, Jennie (17 Oct 1883 - 3 Jan 1901)
Mrs. Jennie Redmond, wife of James Redmond of the town of Weston, Clark County, died in the city at the home of her father-in-law, Richard Redmond the night of Jan. 3, 1901. The cause of her death was quick consumption. She was about seventeen years of age. A few weeks before her death she and her husband had moved to A. Barton's farm, but her health failing, she came to Neillsville to be near medical aid. The dread disease, however, had made too great progress and her young life quickly and seemingly painlessly, faded away. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ward of Weston, and was well liked by all who knew her. The funeral was held at Christie Church Jan. 5, Rev. W. E. Closter of Greenwood officiating.
