Major Valentine Spencer of La Crosse, and Miss Cora Louise Freedy, of Thorp, Clark County, were quietly married Saturday evening at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Bryden, Rev. A.V. Ingham performed the ceremony. The groom is a brother of Mrs. Bryden and has many friends and acquaintances in this and Taylor Counties. The bride is one of the teachers of this county and is a lovely young lady.
