Wiesner, Amelia (Marriage - 25 DEC 1900)
Mr. E. J. McCarr of Stevens Point and Miss Amelia Wiesner of this city (Neillsville, Clark County) were united in marriage at the catholic parsonage Christmas day at 2:30 p.m., Rev. Father Jungblut officiating. The bride was attended by her sister Miss Clara and Will McCarr, brother of the groom, acted as best man. The ceremony was performed in the presence of relatives and immediate friends of the contracting parties only.
The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Wiesner, growing to womanhood in this city and has taught school a number of terms in the county and city, and has a large circle of friends who wish her joy. The groom is manager of I. Brill's string of trotting horses at Stevens Point and is a gentleman who has won the respect of all.
The newly wedded pair left Wednesday morning for Stevens Point where they will reside.
