Osgood, Jennie E. (Marriage - 10 FEB 1902)
Albion L. Snyder and Miss Jennie E. Osgood, both of the village of Granton, Clark County, were united in marriage Saturday evening, Feb. 10, 1902 at the parlors of the Merchants Hotel in this city, Rev. A. V. Ingham officiating. The groom was accompanied by Messrs. C.F. Carey and Wm. Oelig and the bride by Mrs. C.F. Carey and Octavia Osgood. Following the ceremony, at 9 o'clock p.m. the wedding party sat down to a supper, such as has made the cuisine of mine host Murphy of the Merchants justly noted. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton Snyder of the town of York and is one of Granton's most active and intelligent young business men. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Osgood and one of Clark County's most successful teachers. At present she teaches the primary department in Granton schools. The young couple will board with Mrs. J. M. Tompkins till the close of the school term, when they will begin housekeeping. The Rep. And Press joins their other friends in congratulations and best wishes.
