Rogers, David R. (18 May 1834 - 31 OCT 1901)
David R. Rogers was born in Lower Canada May 18th, 1884. He moved with his parents to Fond du Lac County, Wis., nearly sixty years ago, where he lived, grew up and married. In 1878, he moved with his family to the town of York, Clark County, Wis., where he made a home and where he died, Oct. 31, 1901, of a complication of diseased caused by his service in the army, in which he served some over three years. He was severely wounded at the charge made on Vicksburg May 22, 1863. He was converted to God in early life and at the time of his death was an honored member of the Free Methodist Church of York near his home. He will be greatly missed in the home, the community and the church.
