BENNETT-DANIELS LUMBER CO. INC.
This dry kiln business was established in 1963. When preparing their building site, near the old lumber mill-yard, sawdust had to be excavated and hauled away to make a stable bottom. (Also a hand-dug well was found.) Many piles of lumber are visible, with approximately 3 million feet of hardwood on inventory. Six dry kilns, with a 200,000 ft. capacity a planing mill automatic stacker automatic un-stacker and an automatic grading station comprise this lumber enterprise. Raw Hardwoods come from all eastern states and the dried lumber is shipped nation wide and to Canada. Tyler Bennett and Robert Daniels are the owners.
