Downer, Eliza Ann (1827 - 10 Dec 1901)

Mrs. Eliza Ann Downer died last week Tuesday at the home of her son Homer Downer, near Granton, Clark County, aged 74 years. She had been an invalid about six years. She was born in New York and came west at an early day, where she has since resided. She is survived by two sons, Homer and Noble of the town of York and two daughters, Mrs. Converse of Granton, and Mrs. Holmes of Greenwood. The funeral was held from the Granton Church Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. G.W. Longenecker officiating.
