I am looking for information regarding my house that was built in 1954. It is part of the old C. W. Garrett subdivision of 1920 with a Mr. W. L. Hemphill listed as the engineer. I am really trying to determine if he has a connection to the architect, James Hemphill, who is the rage in Greenwood right now. I know that my house is well built ,so I am trying to learn of its history. I am the fourth owner. It was originally built by Mr. & Mrs. James C. Turner (Lila). I know that she was a nurse.
