Morin, Clifton Lamont (6 Apr 1899 - 28 Jul 1902)
Clifton Lamont Morin, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Mont Morin and only grandchild of Mr. and Mrs. G.P. Dorr, formerly of this place (Neillsville, Clark County), died at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G.P. Dorr at Rice Lake, Wis., July 28th at the age of 3 years, 3 months and 22 days, after an illness of 15 weeks of tuberculosis meningitis. Little Clifton will be missed by all who knew him. He was a bud of brightness too sweet to last and the reaper came early and cut the bud from its tender stem to blossom in heaven. He was loved by all and the idol of his parents and grandparents. The funeral was held from the house, Rev. Kooms preaching the sermon.
Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Morin of Embden, Me., the child's grandparents, were here for the funeral.
Mrs. P.A. Cross of York returned from Rice Lake Sunday morning to attend the funeral of little Clifton Morin.
