Johnson, Mrs. Ole (1858 - 12 Sep 1902)
Mrs. Ole Johnson died at her home on 6th St. (Neillsville, Clark County), Friday evening after an illness of two days. Thursday morning her husband found her unconscious, she having been stricken with paralysis during the night. She remained in a comatose state all day Friday until late in the afternoon, when she was stricken with apoplexy, from which she died at 7:30.
Deceased was born in Norway in 1858 and came to America 22 years ago. She was united in marriage to Ole Johnson Feb. 14, 1884, who with six children is left to mourn the loss of the dearest friend on earth. Her death, sudden as it was, has cast a gloom over the large circle of friends who knew her best and to know her was to love and respect her for the many sterling qualities and gentle loving disposition she possessed. The heartfelt sympathy of all goes out to the grief stricken relatives in their hour of affliction. The funeral occurred Monday afternoon from the Norwegian Church, of which deceased was a faithful member. Rev. Anderson of Marshfield officiated.
