Bahr, Bertha (1863? - 21 May 1903)
Mrs. Albert Bahr died at her home in the town of Weston, Clark County, Thursday, May 21, 1903, aged 39 years. She had been in frail health for several years, and about a year and a half ago a tumor began to develop on the knee joint, which still further reduced her strength. The best of medical skill that could be secured served but to keep the disease in check. Lately another tumor began within the chest, which was the immediate cause of her death. Deceased, whose maiden name was Bertha Klueckmann, was born in Germany, and came to this country when about nine years old. She was married to Albert Bahr twenty-one years ago, and they have resided in the town of Weston ever since. Besides her husband she leaves two grown up daughters to mourn her death. She was a woman who was beloved and respected by all her acquaintances, who sincerely sympathize with the bereaved family. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Lutheran Church at Globe, Rev. Thrun officiating.
