Rossman, Emil W. (11 Feb 1871 - 12 Mar 1902)

Emil W. Rossman died Wednesday morning, March 12, 1902, at his home in this city (Neillsville, Clark County), after a lingering illness of more than a year, the cause of his death being consumption. For a few weeks past he had seemed to rally and improve, as is often the case, in that dread disease, the patient and even his friends took hope for his recovery, but he suddenly grew worse and declined rapidly until he died. Deceased was born in Plymouth, Wis., Feb. 11, 1871. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Rossman and came here with his parents when a child and grew up in this city. A few years ago he was married to Irene Frank, who, with their two children, survive him. He Leaves also his mother and three brothers, Geo. P. of Ashland, Jule J. of Madison and Fred of this city to mourn his death. The funeral will be held Friday at two o'clock at the Methodist Church, Rev. G.W. Longenecker officiating.
