Raether, Minnie A. (Marriage - 8 OCT 1903)

Fred E. Wendt and Minnie A. Raether were married, Wednesday evening, Oct. 8, 1903 at the residence of the bride's parents Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Raether of the town of Pine Valley, Clark County, Rev. G.W. Campbell officiating. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wendt Sr. who live two miles north of the city. He is a young man of good habits, industrious and well liked. The bride is a charming young lady whose many friends wish her happiness and prosperity. The young couple will probably carry on Mr. Raether's farm, the groom having been working there the present season, Mr. Raether and family expecting to move into the city. The Rep & Press joins with the other friends of the bride and groom in wishing them success. Over two hundred guests were in attendance at the wedding, and a large number of beautiful, useful and costly presents were bestowed, and a fine supper served to all.
