McMillan, Catherine A. (Marriage - 21 OCT 1903)
At 2:30 o'clock p.m. Wednesday, Oct 21, 1903, Mr. Frank B. Wing of Abbotsford and Miss Catherine A. McMillan were married at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John D. McMillan, Rev. W. T. Hendren of Greenwood officiating. The bride wore a dress of green voile over silk and the groom wore black. The table decorations were chrysanthemums. There were a large number of guests in attendance and the wedding presents were many and beautiful. After refreshments the bride and groom took the 4:45 train for St. Paul and other places. Upon their return they will begin housekeeping at Abbotsford. The bride is one of Neillsville's most lovely young ladies. She has grown up here (Clark County) from childhood, graduated from the city schools, and socially has always been a favorite with the young people. She is a musician of merit and the people of Abbotsford should fine her a welcome adjunct in the social affairs of their thriving village. The groom is a druggist and is well established in business in Abbotsford and has a fine home there. While located at Marshfield he formed the acquaintance of a number of people here and is held in the highest esteem by all who know him. The bride will be missed here in the home, the church and neighborhood gatherings but there is a compensation in knowing that Neillsville is contributing to the welfare of some of her neighbors. With Cassie as she is familiarly known, go the best wishes of our people for long happiness in her new home, and many congratulations for Mr. Wing.
