MERRILLAN - Mary Eveline Neverman Lauer, 88, Merrillan, died June 20, 2002, at home after a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was born Jan. 9, 1914, in Neillsville, Clark County to Julius and Carrie (Beardsley) Neverman. Mary graduated from Neillsville High School in 1931 and attended Winona Business College.
She was united in marriage to Bill Lauer on Sept. 10, 1938. She established W.H. Lauer Forest Products, Inc. in Winona, Minn. with her husband in 1947. She worked in real estate 1959-1969 and for the Lake Center Switch Company in Winona 1969-1979. She and her husband retired in 1979 and moved to Merrillan.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Lauer, of Merrillan son, Ted (Carol) Lauer of Tomah three daughters, Cassandra Lauer of Avondale, Ariz., Heidi Lauer of Merrillan, and Germaine Sarna of Colorado Springs, Colo. 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
