Kubat, Annie (27 Jan 1869 - 11 FEB 1904)
Annie Kubat, whose convent name was Sister Ludmille, died of consumption in La Crosse Feb. 11 1904, aged 33 years and 15 days. Deceased was a teacher in the highest grade of St. Vensclaus (Bohemian) Sisters school, where she had taught successfully man years. She was born in West Bend, Wis., and came to Clark County with her parents when quite young. She was educated at the convent in La Crosse and immediately began her work as a teacher. She was highly spoken of by the La Crosse papers. Her brothers John, Frank and Anton attended the funeral, which was held Feb. 13.
