Hurlburt, George (14 Augl 1861 - 14 Mar 1904)
George Hurlburt died at Moscow, Idaho, March 14, 1904. He was born at Lewis, Essex County, N.Y. Aug. 14, 1861, and came to Clark County with his father, D. Hurlburt, in 1871, and lived at home in the town of York until a few years ago when he went west. His brother Wm. Hurlburt of York went to him when he was taken sick and returned with the remains, arriving Saturday.
The funeral took place at the residence of J.W. Lynch of this city, Rev. G.W. Campbell officiating. Deceased left five sisters, Mrs. Lottie Seager, of Weston, Mrs. J.E. Gray of Colby, Mrs. S. Gray of Marshfield, Mrs. J.W. Lynch of Neillsville, and Mrs. Henry Poates of La Crosse. Deceased was a man of good character, upright, honest and a good citizen.
