Jewett, Sarah M. (13 Dec 1816 - 7 May 1904)

Mrs. Sarah M. Jewett died Saturday, May 7, 1904, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.W. Tolford in this city (Neillsville, Clark County), age 87 years, four months and 25 days. Deceased was the wife of Jos. L. Jewett who died her nine years ago. In 1894 they came here from Michigan and took up their home with Mr. and Mrs. Tolford, Mr. Jewett dying the next year. Deceased has for several years been practically an invalid, requiring constant care and attention. Her death was due to old age. The remains were taken to Beloit, accompanied by Mr. Tolford, burial taking place there at the side of her husband and deceased children in the family lot. She leaves five daughters widely separated over the west.
