Gault, Edith Alton (14 Sep 1872 - 14 JUN 1904)
Mrs. Edith Alton Gault died at her home in Grant June 14, 1904. Death came very suddenly, the result of a hemorrhage. Deceased was born in Lincoln, Wis. Sept. 14, 1872 and lived there with her parents till her marriage with Mr. Gault, Jan. 17, 1899. They resided at Tomah one year and moved to Clark County in 1900, having bought the Farning farm in the town of Grant. She leaves to mourn her death her husband, three children, three step-children, father, mother, six sisters and a brother. During her residence here Mrs. Gault had made many warm friends whose sympathy goes out to the bereaved family and relatives. The funeral took place June 16, at the home, Rev. G.W. Longenecker officiating. Among those who came to attend the funeral were Albion Alton, Mr. and Mrs. L.G. Rayner and Mrs. Sylvia Wilson of Tomah, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Cole and Guy Cole of Loyal.
