McKenzie, David (18 Dec 1857 - 3 Jul 1904)
David McKenzie died at his home near Merrillan in Jackson County, July 3, 1904, death being due to effects of grip. Deceased was born at Sterling, Canada, Dec. 18, 1857, he came to Seymour, Wis. in 1873, and to Clark County in 1890. In Sept. 1891 he was married to Lizzie Meeks of Jackson Co., who with one son, aged 11 years, survive him. In the fall of 1900 he sold his farm in the town of York, Clark County and moved to the farm where he died. Besides his wife and child he leaves five sisters and one brother in this county, and one sister at Seymour. He was a man much respected by all who knew him and his family and relatives have the sincere sympathy of all. The funeral took place at his home, July 5, Rev. C.M. Keach of Alma Center officiating.
