Dresden, Emma (21 Dec 1872 - 16 JUL 1904)

Mrs. C.B. Dresden died Sunday at her home in this city (Neillsville, Clark County). She had been in poor health for over a years, for a time being treated at the Mendota Hospital. She recovered her mental faculties and returned to her home, but did not regain her physical health, and recently declined very rapidly. Deceased, whose maiden name was Emma Pearson, was born in Sweden, and at her death was 31 years, 6 months and 26 days old. She came to this country when five years old and was married to Burton Dresden eight years ago. Besides her husband, she leaves her father, Benjamin Pearson of Alma Center and a sister , Mrs. Eric Nelson of the town of Washburn, to mourn her death. She was a woman of quiet disposition and had the respect of all who knew her. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the Presbyterian Church, Rev. J.K. Griffis officiating.
