Noel, Matthew (25 Augl 1827 - 17 JUL 1904)

One of the oldest settlers of the town of Pine Valley, Clark County, died at his home in that town Sunday, July 17, 1904, from paralysis, from which he has suffered for more than a year. He was born in Germany and was 76 years, 10 months and 23 days old at the time of his death. He was a prosperous farmer, and an honest good citizen. The funeral was held Tuesday at the Catholic Church, Rev. Jos. Hauck officiating.
