Bradley, Leon (21 Dec 1879 - 4 JAN 1905)
Leon Bradley died Jan. 4, 1905 at Deer River, Minn. He left here last April, going to Fairmont, N.D., where he worked through the summer. On Nov. 12th he was married to Rosa Bonhoey at that place and about Nov. 30th he started for Deer River to work in the woods, where he had worked for two winters previously. Here he was taken sick with diphtheria, and went to the hospital at Grand Rapids, Minn. News was received by his relatives here that he was getting along well, and nothing was heard to the contrary till a telegram came stating that he had died Jan. 4, and was buried at Deer River. He was 25 years of age Dec. 21, 1904. Besides his young wife he leaves his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. J.B. McKenzie and half brother Harvey Mackenzie, to mourn his death. He was always jolly and full of fun and made friends wherever he went.
