Goldamer, Julius (1839 - 29 Jul 1905)
Julius Goldamer, one of the oldest settler of Pine Valley, Clark County died at his home in that town Saturday morning, July 29, 1905. Mr. Goldamer was born in Germany in 1839, and came to America when 9 years of age. Thirty-four years ago he came to Clark County and settled in the town of Pine Valley, where ha has lived ever since. He was one of the best citizens, honest and upright in his dealings and firm in his principles. He had many times been honored by his fellow townsmen by election to office in the town, serving the people faithfully and well. He leaves to mourn his death a wife and eight children, six sons and two daughters, all of whom were at his bedside at the time of his death.
The funeral was held Monday at the home, Rev. Haas of Granton officiating.
