Isham, Mary (19 Dec 1859 - 11 OCT 1905)
Mrs. Mary Isham, wife of George Isham, died at San Antonio, Texas, Oct. 11, 1905. Her remains were brought to Neillsville, Clark County for burial, the funeral taking place at the Catholic Church on Tuesday, Rev. Jos. L. Hauck officiating. Mrs. Isham was the daughter of Peter McGinnis. She was born in New York State Dec. 19, 1859; came with her parents to Clark county and in 1876 was married to George Isham. For a time they lived in Milwaukee, later in Minneapolis and Chicago, and last fall they went to Texas, hoping than the climate might stay the lung trouble from which she was suffering. Besides her husband she leaves one son, a young man about 28 years of age and a daughter of 11, besides eight sisters and three brothers. Those who knew her best speak in the highest terms of her good qualities, and her patience and hopefulness during her long illness. To her husband and children, to her aged father and her large circle of relatives is offered the sympathy of the people here.
