Miller, Mary (Marriage - 12 Jan 1904)
A most beautiful wedding took place on Tuesday at 10 o'clock in St. Mary's Church when Bernard Gehrmann and Mary Miller were united in marriage. Margreth Lauer and Agnes Klein were flower girls; they were dressed in white and carried large bouquets of lilies and carnations. The bride is the eldest daughter of John Miller of Pine Valley, Clark County and a very popular young lady who had made many friends during the past year that she has resided here. The groom is widely known her as an industrious and saving young man. Mary Carper from Whitewater, Wis., and Malvina Neis of the town of Weston were bridesmaids and Arthur Gehrmann and Joseph Miller were groomsmen. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J.G. Hauck. After the church ceremonies a wedding dinner was served at the bride's home. Many relatives and friends were present and enjoyed the occasion. The newly married couple left on Wednesday for an extended trip through western Iowa.
