Runge, Martha (Marriage - 4 May 1904)
Mr. Herman Berger and Miss Martha Runge were united in marriage at their newly furnished home on Seventh St. (Neillsville, Clark Co.), Wednesday evening, May 4, 1904, Rev. Thom of Marshfield officiating. The wedding was a quiet one, only the relatives of the contracting parties being present. The groom has for some time been head clerk in Marsh Bros. Store. By his gentlemanly manner and business competency, he has won the confidence of all who have met him. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. H. Runge and has been employed in Walk Bros. Store, where she has won popularity by her quiet ladylike demeanor and pleasing manner. The young couple began housekeeping at once, and take with them to their new home the best wishes of the entire community.
