Knoop, Freda (Marriage - 28 JUN 1904)
Mr. Arnold Knoop and his cousin Miss Fred Knoop were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday June 28, 1904, at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Knoop, on the North Side in this city (Neillsville, Clark County), Rev. Thrun officiating. About eighteen families of relatives and friends were represented among the guests numbering over fifty persons. Many beautiful and useful presents were bestowed, a sumptuous supper was served and pleasant time enjoyed by until a late hour, when the guests departed, wishing the young couple a happy and prosperous life. The groom is one of Neillsville's energetic and popular young business men who has been interested for several years in the mercantile line here. He is prominent in social and local military affairs, being Second Lieut. Of Co. A. The bride is a Lovely young lady of modest demeanor and ladylike manner. The began housekeeping at once, having their home all furnished in the Week house on the North Side.
