Brewer, Mabel (Marriage - 11 JUN 1905)
Miss Mabel Brewer and Mr. Milan Burt stole a march on the community by getting married on Sunday, June 11, 1905, and keeping the affair a profound secret.
The wedding took place at the home of Mr. Chas. Brewer, father of the bride, Rev. F.M. Clark performing the ceremony.
Mrs. burt was teaching at the Keatly school house and continued her duties, the pupils oblivious of the change which had taken place.
Miss Brewer is the oldest daughter of Chas. Brewer, shingle and box manufacturer, and is the pride of a large circle of friends, as well as relatives. The groom has been here but a comparatively short time, but is noted for his integrity and industry. Felicitations are cordially extended. (Castle Rock, Wash. Leader)
