Pockrandt, Loretta M. (11 Dec 1935 - 10 JUN 2002)

Loretta M. Pockrandt, 66, Loyal, died on Monday, June 10, 2002, at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. The Rev. Roman Kaiser officiated. Burial was in the Loyal Public Cemetery. Pallbearers were Travis Smith, Ryan Smith, Steven Banks, Elizabeth Banks, Scott Rueth, Cory Rueth and Brandon Lucht.

Loretta Mae Younker was born on Dec. 11, 1935, in Greenwood, to Rudolph and Mae (nee Stange) Younker. She attended area schools and graduated from Greenwood High School in 1953. She married Verlyn Pockrandt on Sept. 8, 1954, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Abbotsford. In addition to her normal housekeeping work, she served as the head bookkeeper for the family business for many years. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church Ladies Aid. Her interests included gardening and raising flowers. Survivors include her husband, Verlyn, Loyal three children, Donna (Kerry) Smith, Loyal, Debbie (Larry) Lucht, Loyal, and Diane (Richard) Gallatin, Marshfield five grandchildren her stepmother, Sophie Younker, Euclid, Ohio one brother, Dennis (Noreen) Younker, Fridley, Minn. two sisters, Sharon (Ronald) Rueth, Loyal, and Darlene (Harvey) Haslow, Loyal and one brother-in-law, Nyle Brandt, Greenwood.

Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, assisted the family with arrangements.
