BRAUN SETTLEMENT LADIES AID BOOK ONE--1924-1930
Rules of Salem's Ladies Aid
I. Election of officers will be held during July instead of January from now on (Mar. 13, 1924)
II. The sympathy fund is kept up by taxing members twenty-five cents every June to be placed in charge of vice-president.
III. Flowers not exceeding a certain sum should be sent to members of aid or their immediate families in case of death.
IV. The general fund is to be used for the welfare of the church.
V. The opening of the meeting will be done in both English and German Language. The Lord's Prayer in German after the reading and in English at the close of songs.
VI. Officers are to be seated at table during business meeting.
VII. Members should pay dues as name is called during roll call.
VIII. Any member wishing to speak must first address the chairman.
